Mezőkövesd

Mezőkövesd has 18000 inhabitants. The city is situated at the half-way line of two regions, in the north is the range of the Bükk mountains, in the south the river Tisza, at about the same distance. Mathias King awarded urban class for the town in 1464. The Zsóry Hotel Fit**** is situated in the Zsóry Thermal Spa resort near Mezőkövesd. The Zsóry Spa and Open-Air Swimming pool is approximately 300 metres from the hotel. The medicinal water is suitable for the threatment of different illnesses.
